My professional life as a licensed cybersecurity, IT governance, risk, and compliance expert is focused on safeguarding the privacy and integrity of sensitive data and the safety of vital computer networks, infrastructures, and systems in the critical organization and sectors of the United States and Africa. This includes finance services, finance regulator, oil and gas, software & technology industry.
I have earned and obtained relevant professional certificates and licenses as a cybersecurity expert and received expert-level training in the field of cyber/information security and assurance.
Through a thorough analysis of my contributions to the cybersecurity, IT infrastructure security, IT Governance, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, IT risk management, security control monitoring & assurance, security training, and IT Audit, I have a noteworthy track record of successfully executing and implementing several projects with significant impacts in various sectors in Africa and the United States
As a highly dedicated and accomplished professional in the field of cybersecurity, IT Governance, Risk Management and Compliance, I have consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership within cybersecurity-based professional societies such as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), Lagos, Nigeria Chapter. I took key roles within the organization by serving as a member of the board of Directors as Assistant Secretary (2015-2017) and Information and Branding Director (2017).
Currently, I am a Lead Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) Consultant at a digital services and consulting company, where I establish, manage, and execute the information security and compliance programs for several clients. This includes establishing and maintaining a comprehensive enterprise-wide cybersecurity program, policies, and processes that align with the company’s business objectives.
My goal is to continue utilizing my strong expertise in cybersecurity, information technology (IT) governance, risk management, cloud security and assurance to develop programs, security architecture frameworks, and processes that help organizations to protect their sensitive information and data, improve their IT security posture and protect against cyber threats.
